Project Description

This full-day trip provides the perfect opportunity to experience the Ancient Rome and the smallest state in the World, the Vatican City. You will visit the Church of St. Peter’s in Chains to admire the astonishing Moses by Michelangelo; later you will proceed walking to one of the most important monuments of ancient Rome, the Colosseum, a symbol of the Eternal City. After this visit you will reach the Arch of Titus and the “Roman Forum”, centre of ancient Rome’s political and religious life.
Later enjoy a typical Italian meal at a local restaurant rich in atmosphere! After lunch start a trip to the enchanting Vatican City where you will view the spectacular St. Peter’s Square and the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Christian church in the world. Enjoy some free time to take pictures before returning to Civitavecchia.
